Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. Service Description
Safe Car Check provides vehicle history reports for UK-registered vehicles. Reports are generated using data from third-party sources including UK Vehicle Data Limited, the DVLA, Police National Computer (PNC), and the Motor Insurers' Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR).
2. Accuracy of Information
While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, Safe Car Check acts as a data aggregator and does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of information provided by third-party data sources. Reports should be used as one part of your vehicle due diligence process.
3. Payment and Refunds
Payment is collected via Stripe. If we are unable to generate your report for any technical reason, a full automatic refund will be issued. Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days. No refunds are offered for successfully generated reports.
4. Report Access
Reports are available for download for 30 days from the date of purchase. After this period, the PDF is automatically deleted. We recommend downloading and saving your report promptly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Safe Car Check reports for personal, lawful purposes only. Systematic or bulk querying of our service is prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse service to any user at our discretion.
6. Limitation of Liability
Safe Car Check shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our reports or the information contained within them. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the report.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
